That language article of yours was one of the first ones suggested to me after signing up with Medium to write. Loved it! Thanks for reading my story and leaving a note. I’m super blessed to be living in a place where I can be surrounded by Swedish. That is a huge part of the language immersion process. I didn’t mention it in the story, but I have always had a love of languages and different cultures. And, I’ve spent time working on French and Spanish at different points, so it is a goal once I’ve gotten more close to fluency with Swedish to go back and study more of the others as well. My idea behind this story was to give a glimpse into the difficulties of language learning for those who only know one language. But, of course, the people who have first resonated most with the story are those who have undertaken to learn another language.
